He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Arp and Alice Arp (Smith); his sons, Lonnie Ray and Allen; and his siblings, Elmer, Ed, Roy and Hazel Hatfield.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Kessler of Spearfish; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Bohn Arp of Spearfish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
