He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gapp and Delma Gapp (Lentz); his parents-in-law, Arther and Elvie Lupinek; his siblings-in-law, Betty Gapp and Harold Ferguson; and his great grandchild Brielle Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Erik Spencer, Jeff Gapp, Kevin Gapp, Paul Gapp, Brian Smook, Jon Meidinger and Bradley Kent; his wife Judy Gapp of South Shore, SD; his children, Wayne Gapp (Shelly) of Milbank, SD, Tammy Spencer (Gary) of Sisseton, SD, Connie Smook (Terry) of Sioux Falls, SD and Donna Arten (James) of Summit, SD; and his siblings, Leon Gapp of Marvin, SD and Carol Ferguson of Monahan, TX. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
