With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlin Hosmer of Sisseton, South Dakota, born in Fedora, South Dakota, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hosmer and Lois Hosmer (Wise); and his wife Carol Ann. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Hosmer (Jenny) of Volga, SD, Ree Groos (Adam) of Lake Crystal, MN, Grant Hosmer of Lino Lakes, MN and Gregory Hosmer of Glasgow, MO; his sisters, Betty Thompson of Madison, SD, Ardith Scott of Brandon, SD and Shirley Heath (Sid Tompkins) of Sioux City, IA; his grandchildren, Brynna Hosmer, Annabelle Hosmer, Willow Hosmer, Eli Hosmer, Abby Groos and Heather Hosmer; and his sister-in-law Debbra Eich (Calvin) of Eagan, MN.. He is also survived by his wife of 55 years, his children, his four sisters, and his many pets.
