She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Simon and Ardeth Simon (Randall); her son Dustin; her son-in-law David "Tubby" Karst; her brothers-in-law, Monte and Charles; and her niece Lucille Casiano.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Fisher; her children, Mandi Nickolauson (Daniel) of Sisseton, SD, Kelli Karst (Timothy Kasper) of Burtrum, MN and Ryan Fisher (Heather Seefeldt) of Sisseton, SD; and her siblings, Lynn Simon of Princeton, MN, Diana Simon of Prior Lake, MN, Jodi Anderson (Scott) of Langford, SD and Chad Simon of Flandreau, SD. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and two on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (525 Chestnut St E, Sisseton, SD 57262). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
