He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nancy and Richard Wallestein; his great-grandparents, Tammy Huggins and Thomas McAvoy; and his great-great-grandparents, Patsy Genia (Cloud), Howard Genia and Joel Huggins.
He is survived by: his parents, Oji Markham and Anastasia McAvoy of Sisseton; his brother Octavian Markham of Sisseton; and his grandparents, Rachel, Daniel McAvoy of Sisseton and Lucille Markham of Gary, Indiana. He is also survived by many cousins uncles and aunts.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262).
