We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2021, at the age of 88, Mildred Optiz of Sisseton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schaunaman and Esther Schaunaman (Dalchow); her husband Eugene Opitz; her siblings, Deloras Ceroll, Gilbert and Clarence Schaunaman; her daughter Mary Ann; and her grandson Jason McDonnel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce McDonnel (Michael) of Sioux Falls, SD and Rosemarie Colledge of Phoenix, AZ; her granddaughters, Lori Lamb (Tony) of Marshall, MN and Amanda Walsh (Dustin) of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchildren, Tayna, Morgan Lamb and Autumn McDonnel; and her sisters, Charlotte Ritz of Watertown, SD. and Cordilia "Susie" Davis of Sandstone, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
