Lois Olson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Olson of Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vene Eitemiller and Eleanor Eitemiller (Eggers); her siblings, Fae Johnston and Arnold Eitemiller; and her parents-in-law, Arthur and Edna Olson.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Olson; her sons, Richard Olson (Carol Lindsey) of Madison, SD and Raymond Olson (Mary Tangen) of Fargo, ND; her siblings, Helen Biever (Larry) of Fredericksburg, VA and David Eitemiller (Marie) of Mitchell, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Birkholtz (Owen) of Willow Lake, SD and Lois Ann Seger (Chuck) of Oelrichs, SD. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (421 3rd Ave E, Sisseton, SD 57262).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the National Association of Federal Employees Alzheimer's Research program.
