It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonne Grimsrud of Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Johnson and Pearl Johnson; her husband Donald Grimsrud; and her siblings, Erwin, Wayne, Vern, Darrel, Odean, Ronald, Ardis and Geraldine.
She is survived by: her children, Roni Sweeney (Mike) of Mitchellville, IA., Randy Grimsrud of Sisseton, SD, Mary Ann Colling (Grant) of Omaha, NE. and Mark Grimsrud (Peggy) of Sisseton, SD.; her grandchildren, Jon Sweeney (Kayla), Jennifer Gelbard (Alexandre), Ian Colling and Aidan Colling; and her stepgrandchildren, Ben Colling, Brittany Wollschlager (Jordan) and Tyler Brooks (Tara). She is also survived by four great-grandsons, four great-granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
