It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irving Monson of Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Monson and Mae Monson (Jones); his son Darrell Frenier; his grandson Timothy R. LaBatte Jr.; his siblings, James Monson, Alyce Spooner and Patricia Hofland; his brothers-in-law, Loy Eaton, Reuben Spooner and Roger Hofland; his nephews, Keith Butrum and James Yammerino; and his niece Leah Hofland-Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Frenier (Trisha), Levi DuMarce Jr. (Annette), Johnathan Gill, Reynold DuMarce, Kenneth Gill (Camille), Dolores Allen (Samuel), Janice White Shield, Donna DuMarce, Kathleen DuMarce (Harlan) and Beverly Gill; his sister-in-law Vivian Monson; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Allen, Erica Fischer and Del Frenier; and his nieces and nephews, John Eaton (Audrey), Harold Eaton (Lynn), David Eaton (Katie), Terry Monson (Mary Kay), Daniel Monson, Wade Hofland, Robert Hofland, Lance Hofland, Jill Lehmann (David), Faye Kann, Linda Reisenweber, Susan Yammerino, Holly Butrum, Lauri Fugate (Bill), Carol Ringsaker (Clark) and Lezli Monson.
