Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (525 Chestnut St E, Sisseton, SD 57262). Her claim to fame was that she never retired but was "laid off" due to the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, Erla's wish was that memorials be made to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund.
