He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Elta Thompson (Ady); his wife Hilma Thompson; and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his children, David Thompson of Sisseton, S. D., Iris Rydell (James) of Vermillion, S. D., Calvin Thompson (Candace) of Sisseton, S. D., Rodney Thompson (Shellie) of Watertown, S. D., Joan Morrow (Daniel) of Fort Collins, Colorado and Gene Thompson of Sioux Falls, S. D. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
