Alexander Heminger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Alexander Heminger of Sisseton, South Dakota, born in Peever, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Heminger and Belle Barse; his siblings, Terry Heminger, LeRoy Heminger Jr., Peggy Thompson and Ramona Walker; and his grandson Conrad DuMarce.

He is survived by: his son Wade DuMarce Sr.; and his siblings, Lois Jackson of Agency Village, SD, Francis "Tato" Heminger of Sisseton, SD and Harold Amos of Sisseton, SD. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

There will be an all night wake at St. Kateri Tekakwith Hall on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 starting at 7:00 P. M. Masks and social distancing are required.
