She was predeceased by: her parents, Yasuji Arai and Haniko Arai; and her brother Haruji Arai. She is survived by: her husband James Barber; her siblings, Mariko Kurihara (Arai) and Yoshiharu Arai; her grandchildren, Ashley Enderle (Alex), Lauren Weirich (Jon), Derek Thompson and Garrett Thompson; and her great grandchild Branson Enderle.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Spring or Summer of 2021, when COVID conditions allow for gatherings.
