She was predeceased by: her parents, Aalt Appel and Klaartje Van Appel (Kleyer); her former husband John Zylstra; her husband Richard Haan; her stepdaughter Reba Rozeboom (Marvin) of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Stanley, John, Riek Van Appel, Ali Van Appel, Clara Melin and Hennie Doctor; and her stepdaughter Jeane (Lyle Dally).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Zylstra (Maria) of Baltimore, MD, Susan Cromwell (Robert) of Kansas City, MO, Barbara Bryan (Keith) of Adin, CA and Rhonda Miller (Chris) of LaVista, NE; her grandchildren, Megan McCarty (Daniel), Tiffany Weidner (Kellen), Jesse VanDen Broek, Ryan VanDen Broek (Christina), Joseph Cromwell, John Zylstra (Brittany), Maki Zylstra, Francisco Zylstra and Sophia Zylstra; and her stepgrandchildren, Randy Dally, Beth Land, Curtis Rozeboom and Sheila Rozeboom.
