He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wendell and Alice Wendell (Jansen); his brothers, Wayne, Kenneth and Donald Wendell; and his brother-in-law Howard Adams.
He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Neilan; his children, Willis Wendell, Jr. (Will) and Christi Dickerson (Darrin); his siblings, Janyce Adams, Delbert Wendell (Lois) and Dennis Wendell (Pam); his grandchildren, Ariel Reynolds (Chris), Jessica Wendell, Jenna Wendell, Julianna Wendell and Avery Dickerson; and his great grandchildren, Willow Binkerd and Harper Reynolds.
