It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William McDonald of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald and Mary McDonald; his wife Peggy McDonald; his brother Patrick McDonald; his siblings-in-law, Betty Lou Spicer and Gerald Lee Spicer; and his stepgrandson Jim Mulholland.
He is survived by: his children, Greg McDonald (Beth), Sherry Lowe (Jim) and Toby McDonald (Laurie); his sister-in-law Martha McDonald; and his grandchildren, Spencer Lowe (Kayla), Madison Weischedel (Joel), Avery (Jordan Harra), Jacie, Sadie McDonald, Tom Mulholland (Chelsey) and Rachel Coler Mulholland. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
