He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Hamner and Lillian Hamner (Thoreson); his sisters, Carla Hamner and Coleen Tobin; and his brother-in-law Don Martinell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hamner of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Malissa Hamner of Sioux Falls, SD and Charles Hamner of Brandon, SD; his sisters, Carol Venske, Ralph Venske of Billhead City, AZ and Charla Martinell of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Olivia Hamner of Lexy Hamner, Drake Hamner, Hunter May and Ariah Helseth; and also, Hollie Helseth of Brandon, SD and Lilliam Hamner.
