He is survived by: his wife Dell Gaumond; his sons, Christopher of Minneapolis, MN and Patrick (Michelle); his grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Nicholas, Erin, Sabrina of Tampa, FL and Brian (Allison); his great grandchildren, Seth, Sydney and Savannah of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandson Adam (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Owen, Henry and Katherine of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings, Robert Hoier (JoAnn) of Paso Robles, CA, Lonnie Hoefert (Deb) of Sioux Falls, SD, Ken Hoefert (Angie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Donna Hoefert (LeeRoy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Sharon Hicks of Yorba Linda, CA and Debra Hoefert of Sioux Falls, SD.. He is also survived by his wife, children, and eleven grandchildren.
In place of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Ava's Hospice House.
