He is survived by: his wife Elissa Guderyahn Whitwam of Sioux Falls; his children, Wayne Whitwam (Beth), Bryce Whitwam (Hsia) and Elise Ambrose (Dan); his grandchildren, Tess, Emma, Evan, Elena and Bereket; his nephew Grant Whitwam; and his niece Bibiana Whitwam. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends.
