It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Sue Waxdahl of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Donovan (Lenehan) and Frederick Donovan; her husband Gordon Waxdahl; her stepfather William Waring; and her parents-in-law, Irma Grace and Orville Waxdahl.
She is survived by: her children, Tyler Waxdahl (Myra) of Brandon, SD and Tricia Warner of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Nathan Waxdahl (Taylor Culton), Erika Waxdahl of Brandon, SD and Caitlin Warner of Brandon, SD; her sister-in-law Kathy Donovan of Carlsbad, NM; her siblings, Bill Waring (Diana) of Indianapolis, IN, Donna Dixon (Luke) of Emory, TX and Mike Donovan of Concord, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Smallfield (Del) of Bloomington, MN and Don Waxdahl (Rosanne) of Flandreau, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
