He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bergin and Margaret Bergin (Bresnahan); his wife Stella; his daughter Jodie Bergin; and his siblings, LeRoy Bergin (Margaret), Joyce Zwartz (Jerry), Veronica Herrman (Merle), Gertrude Benson (Otis), Edward Bergin (Norma) and Joy Page (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, David Bergin (Liz Spivey) of Yankton, SD and Margie Lynch (Tom) of Spirit Lake; his sister Catherine McCulloch of Sedona, AZ; and his grandchildren, Rosia Bergin, Nicole Argubright (Thomas), Michael Bergin, Kyle Bitterman, Kathleen Bergin, Jessica Bergin and Kayla Bergin.
