With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlyn C. Schmidt (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Tripp, South Dakota, who passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Schmidt and Edna Schmidt (Hofer); his former wife Elaine Reiser; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Brehm; his sons, Mike (Dasa) and Steve (Deb); his stepdaughter Christen (Jeff); and his brothers, Myron and Jerome. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
