We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Verla E. Sturdevant of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rebel and Elda Hehn Rebel (Hehn); and her husband Lyle Sturdevant. She is survived by: her children, Lori (Martin Vos) of St. Paul, MN and James (Diane) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Ted Carroll (Kendra Grams), John Carroll (Brianna Olson-Carr), Emelia Carroll, Anna Sturdevant Jankord (Bradley Jankord) and David Sturdevant (Anja Cucak); her great grandchildren, Tobias, Anika Carroll, Grace, James Jankord and Luka Sturdevant; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Sturdevant.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
The family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the El Riad Transportation Fund and the Dow Rummel Foundation.
