With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Zingmark of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlow Johnson and Mary Johnson (Sellers); her husband Kermit Zingmark; her children, Nancy and David; and her sister Edith Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Zingmark of Sioux Falls, Susan Dachtler (Dale) of Sioux Falls, John Zingmark of Ft. Collins, CO and Loretta Olson (Kevin) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Jenny Minnaert (Todd), Tina Welch, Hans Langenfeld (Kodi Johnson), Randall Fenner (Michelle), Christine Olson (Nick), Sarah Murtha (Phil) and Emma Olson; and her siblings, Fern Johnson of Fullerton, CA and Homer Johnson of Bluffs Point, Western Australia. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
