He was predeceased by: his father Troy Smykle; his grandparents, John Mortrude, Ken and Joyce Smykle; and his uncle Greg Smykle.
He is survived by: his mother Diane Smykle (Mortrude); his siblings, Ariel Smykle, Talynn Smykle, Beldaran Eide and Derrek Hamilton; his grandparents, Delores Mortrude, Gary and Lynne Eide; his aunts and uncles, Todd Mortrude, Clay Smykle (Michelle), Brandon, Wayne Mortrude, Debbie Jasper (Curt) of Oak Grove, MN, Linda Hanson (Joel), Mark Smykle (Mindy) of Akron, IA, Carmen Schmatz (Matt) and Yvonne Smykle; and his cousins, Zoe Mortrude, John Mortrude, Seth Mortrude, Camryn Mortrude, Cole Smykle, Maci Smykle, Matt Jasper, Teryn Smykle, Kylie Murray, Shauna Allmon, Caleb Schmalz, Jadyn Schmalz, Jay Schmalz, Kristopher Smykle, Trinity Bates and Paula Smykle.
