He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gaffer and Frieda Gaffer (Ingram); and his brothers, Bob and George. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia "Cib" Gaffer; and his children, Michael Gaffer (Theresa) of Maple Grove, MN, Mitchel Gaffer of Huron, SD, Mark Gaffer (Glenda) of Sioux Falls and Michele Simonson (Joe) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
