He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Phyllis Bruflat and Jeanette Bahl; and his stepgrandparents, Bart and Elva Kull. He is survived by: his father Paul Bruflat; his stepmother Julie Bruflat; his mother Tami Schuknecht (Bahl); his stepfather Steve Schuknecht; his sisters, Christa Pearson (D. J.), Amanda Smith (Greg), Shawna Taylor (Nick), Anna Bruflat and Katie Schuknecht; his grandfathers, Merle Bruflat (Marilyn) and Robert Bahl; and his nieces and nephews, Synessa Pearson, Ezlynn Pearson, Keon Pearson and Kolton Timothy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Teej, your trademark "wink and a smile" will forever be in our hearts! In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Avera Addiction Care Center or HelpLine Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He had a great sense of humor and was one of the most intelligent people I have even known.
