With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa C. Sparrow of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theresa C. Sparrow to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Ross Zimmerman and Edith Mae Zimmerman (Novy); her sisters, Karen Husaboe and Robin Chavez; and her husband Wayne Sparrow.
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin Van Steenwyk; her grandchildren, James Adams, Jessica Tierney, Mellyssa Schoeberll, Trevor Erickson, Dillon Erickson, Drake Van Steenwyk and Carter Van Steenwyk; her sons, Tom Van Steenwyk (Heidi) and Andy Van Steenwyk (Kelli); and her siblings, Sue Barber of Plymouth, MN, Melodee Johnson (Dave) of Sioux Falls, SD, Steve Zimmerman (Bonnie) of Lennox, SD and Troy Zimmerman (Debra) of Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home - Downtown Chapel (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Banquet Non-Profit Organization in Sioux Falls.
