He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Kathman and Ellen Kathman (Knapper); his sister Lori Manderscheid; and his nephew Blake Manderscheid. He is survived by: his sons, Dave Kathman (Slayton) and Mark Kathman (Angie); his grandchildren, Emily, Isaiah, Olivia, Gabriel, Jacob and Laney; his sisters, Vikki Hoffman (Ed) and Slayton (Connie Baker); his brother-in-law Rick Manderscheid; and his daughters, Shelby Miller and Shiloh Johnson. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
