It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Paul Hatlestad (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Madeline G. Hatlestad (Quissell); his wife Sharyl Hatlestad of Garretson, SD; his children, Staci Grevillius of Mary Esther, FL, Michael Hatlestad (Daisy), Sioux Falls and Andrew Hatlestad; his grandchildren, Alex, Gabby, Evan and Kora; his siblings, Cheryl Larson (Jerry) of Brandon, SD, Karen Fernengel, David Hatlestad and Peter Hatlestad (Brenda); his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Foster (Bob) of Oak Harbor, WA, Harriet Shafer-Erickson, Andrea Kruse-Shafer, Paul Shafer of Edgemont, SD and Vern Shafer (Ella); and his father Paul Olin Hatlestad. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the McCrossan Boys Ranch in Sioux Falls or a charity of your choosing.
