She was predeceased by: her father Doanh; and her siblings, Chung and Hoa. She is survived by: her husband Scott Pham; her children, Alex Pham of Sioux Falls, SD, Roman Pham and Missy Pham; her mother Tho Nguyen of Minneapolis, MN; and her siblings, Anh Nguyen of Minneapolis, MN, Chi Nguyen, Bang Nguyen, Ha Nguyen, Huong Nguyen, Thi Nguyen of Minneapolis, MN and Nhan Nguyen. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to Ava's House or Dougherty Hospice.
