Shirley Gaffney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Gaffney of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on November 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Anderson and Oneva Anderson (Madland); her husband Russell Gaffney; her son-in-law Jon Mathison; and her sisters, Deanna Serck and Marlys Hastings.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Gaffney of Sioux Falls, Kim Mathison of Sioux Falls and Barb Burns (Joe) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Tara Poe (Caleb), Trevor Mathison (Abby Farley), Gina Gronewold (Darren) and Shanna Kramer (Brent); her great grandchildren, Evrie Mathison, Max Gronewold and Eli Kramer; her brother Tamlin Anderson (Judy) of Maple Valley, Washington; and her brother-in-law Homer Hastings of Newcastle, WY..
