She is survived by: her husband Dr. Mark Whitney; her children, Marsha Ruff (Gregg) of Sioux Falls, SD and Tom Whitney (Tiffany) of Liberty Hill, TX; her grandchildren, Katrina Haukom (Nathan) of Brookings, SD, Melanie Ruff (Paulo Aguileria), Taylor Hendrickson of Seattle, WA, Alexandria Whitney of Liberty Hill, TX and Samantha Whitney of Waco, TX; her great grandchild Archer Haukom; and her brothers, Harlan Kuester of Stanton, NE and Roger Kuester (Diane) of Wisner, NE. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
