It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Lorenz of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Mohror and Helena E. Mohror (Lohr); her husband Theodore Lorenz; her son Eugene Richard; and her brother Larry Mohror.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Berge (Richard) of Sisseton, SD, Diane Schwingle (John) of Bridgewater, SD and Duane Lorenz (Becky) of Colton, SD; and her siblings, Robert Mohror (Helen) of Vinton, VA, Mary Kretzschmar (Leroy) of Pueblo, CO, Joanne Call of Roseville, CA, Jeanne Gavonie (Les) of Sacramento, CA and Erma Dyer (Leslie) of Grant, NE.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:45 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home Downtown Chapel (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Parish (1600 S Marion Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57106). A burial will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
