She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Bixler and William Bixler; her son John Jameson; her brothers, Frank and Jim; her niece Becky Bixler; and her close friend Joan Brown.

She is survived by: her brother Sam; her daughter Traci; her grandchildren, Jamie Hylland Norrdin and Matthew Hylland; her husband Dick; her grandchildren, Norrdin of Solana Beach, CA, Matt (Melisa), Hylland of Chicago, IL, Makai Jameson of Phoenix, AZ, Dawn and Brody Scholten of Phoenix, AZ; her close friend Sofia Vargera (Sioux Falls); and her pets, Ollie and Alfie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association of South Dakota, The Great Plains Zoo and Spirit of Peace Church.
