It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheldon R. Songstad (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Songstad and Hazel Songstad; his grandchildren, Sommer and Jonathan Songstad; and his siblings, Anita Vosburg, Leonard Songstad, Mary Bjerke, David Songstad and Dean Songstad.

He is survived by: his children, Richard (Patty) of Rapid City, SD, Bret Songstad (Janelle) of Sioux Falls, SD, Robert Songstad of Lyons, SD and Zoey North (Doug) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Lukas, Jacob, Sydney Songstad, Lindsay Selde (William), Mackenzie, Kiley Songstad, Jenna Winter (Travis), Jaclyn, Jillian Songstad, Greyson and Cross North; his great grandchildren, Brody, Breckin, Aspen Songstad, Isaac, Jayda Harris and Cecilia Selde; his sister Dory Rubin of Brandon, SD; and his significant other Diane Malavolti. He is also survived by 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
