We bid farewell to Sheila V. Durland of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 3, 2025 at the age of 96. Sheila touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hayes and Rose Hayes (Werdel); her husband Richard Durland; her former husband Lester Fitting; her sisters, Kay Golden and Mary Ellen Maloney; and her grandson Jeff Tregaskes.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Durland (Linda) of Saxapahaw, NC, Nancy Tregaskes (Fred) of Phoenix, AZ, Lori Manske (Kevin) of Shakopee, MN, Patty Bassett (Brian) of Hastings, NE and Tom Durland (Deb) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Katie, Kelly, Hayley, Adam, Creighton, Elliot, Chase, Gabe and Brent; and her close friends, Brenda and Ken Spence. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
