She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Ebel and Edna Ebel (Fischer); her stepfather Clifford Peck; her children, Sheena Ranee Edna Sorenson and Christopher Sorenson; and her sister Sheila Nelson of Huron.
She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Dawn Sorenson of Sioux Falls; her granddaughters, Ashley Sorenson and Jerika Sorenson of Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Autymn, Alyse and Avrie; and her close friend Nikole Jenks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
