She is survived by: her husband Duane Novak; her daughters, Lisa Fathauer (Chris) of Sioux City, IA and Melissa Novak of Gaithersburg, MD; her grandsons, Alex Fathauer and Ben Fathauer of Sioux City; and her siblings-in-law, Alan Nyhus and Diane Layne of Sioux Falls.
