She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle LaGow and Alice LaGow (Orr); and her siblings, Kathleen, John and Chuck.
She is survived by: her husband David Derner; her children, Kris Brau (Mike) of Fairmont, MN and Jeff Derner (Julie) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Haylee Brau of Shakopee, MN, Hannah Hudelson (Colton) of Hibbing, MN, Sophie Brau of St. Paul, MN, Sawyer Brau of Fairmont, MN, Sam Derner of Omaha, NE, Anna Grave (Brad) of Sioux Falls and Maggie Derner of Vermillion, SD; her great grandchildren, Waylon and Henry Hudelson; and her sisters, Elaine Brown of North Mankato, MN. and Betty Padilla of North Mankato, MN..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 37 (229 W Nassau St, St Peter, MN 56082).
