He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Watkins and Ruby Watkins (Fox); and his son-in-law Thomas Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Watkins; his children, Deborah Johnson of Marana, AZ, Ronald Jr. Watkins (Marcella), Tina Sukut (Tim) and Jerry Watkins (Michelle); his great grandchild Tommy Johnson; his daughter Hayden of Lebanon, OH; his grandchildren, Avery, Ashley of Troy, OH, Adam Watkins, Kelsey Harmon (Chris) and Katelyn Shockley; his children, Nash, Pyrce of Sioux Falls, SD, Russell Sukut and Bradley of Aberdeen, SD; his grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Hunter, Jacob Watkins and Taylor Watkins; and his siblings, Pat Hermanson (Mike) of Aberdeen, SD, Ruth Benderwald (Gary), Vicky Frieh and Karen Anderson. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
