He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Tysdal and Florence Tysdal (Thompson); his sister Phyllis Tysdal; his parents-in-law, Cliff and Marcella Foss; and his brother-in-law Ronald Roddel.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Tysdal; his children, Rochelle Nelson (Pete), Renee Ingle (Joel) and Ryan Tysdal (Sara); his grandchildren, Cole Nelson (Meredith), Kane Nelson (Jenny), Clay Nelson (Nancy), Jacob, Ella Ingle, Harper, Emerson and Henry Tysdal; his great grandchildren, Gunnar and Mia Nelson; his siblings-in-law, Judy Roddel and Cliff Foss, Jr. (Peggy); and also Honey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls and Heritage Lutheran Church in Brandon.
