He was predeceased by: his father Donald Kuper; his grandparents, Dick, Hilka Kuper, Floyd and Agnes Johnson; and his close friend Candy Knopf.
He is survived by: his mother Dorthea "Dort" Kuper of Sioux Falls; his sons, Matthew and Joshua Kuper; his grandson Dominic of Sioux Falls; and his sisters, Cheryl Timm (Paul) of Eugene, OR and Patricia Lynch (Tom) of Marshfield, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
