He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Jennie Johnson (Stampe); his wife Lois; his granddaughter Brynn Lundy; and his brother-in-law Manville Pederson (Pete).
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Nelson (Roger) of Sioux Falls and Toni Shutt of Sioux Falls; his sisters, Norma Peterson (Manville) of Chester, SD and Ramona O'Hara (Nicholas) of Edina, MN; and his grandchildren, Noel Hanson (Chris) of Sioux Falls, Logan Nelson of Sioux Falls and Andrew Shutt of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Roland 'Ole' Leon Johnson, age 96, of Sioux Falls, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Sanford Foundation Hospice Cottage.
