He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Berger and Ruth Berger (Anderson); and his wife Iona Mae. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Berger of Sioux Falls, Laurie Boyer (Dan) of Ralston, NE and Susan Hamre (Larry) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Jennifer Orfitelli (Mike), Corey Boyer (Nicole Schroeder), Megan Blackburne (Andrew), Sarah Sheppard (Adam), Aubrey Windish (Jacob), Kylie Berger, Emily Berger (Alberto Baiz) and Kelsey Berger (Jacob Grady); and his great grandchildren, Mia and Sophia Orfitelli.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Ascension Lutheran Church, Brookings, SD in Roger's name.
