With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Vander Linden (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Ireton, Iowa, who passed away on June 15, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Linden and Elizabeth Vander Linden (Van Ravenswaay); his brothers, William and John Vander Linden; his grandson Nathaniel Ballou; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Vander Linden and Rose Vander Linden.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma E. Warkenthien; his children, Craig Vander Linden (Krista), Linda Nieuwenhuis (Barry) and Brenda Tremmel; his grandchildren, Molly Vander Linden, Ashley Ballou-Bonnema (Mark), Andrew Vander Linden (Kendra), Kate Tremmel (Joshua Deines) and Joshua Tremmel; his great grandchildren, Ruby and Paige Vander Linden; his stepgrandchildren, Faith Monen, Amanda Verdoorn (Lee) and Lee Nieuwenhuis (Daisy); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dylan Monen, Tristan, Jamin Verdoorn, Kara, Cameron, Emmett, Owen and Penny Nieuwenhuis; his siblings, Betty Kreykes (John), Julia Merley (Bob), Janice Vander Schaaf, James Vander Linden, Paul Vander Linden (Phyllis) and Dennis Vander Linden; and his sister-in-law Loretta Vander Linden.
