He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lanpher and Gladys Lanpher (Kickland). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mae Nelson of Sioux Falls; his children, Dr. Rob Lanpher (Mary) of Sioux Falls and Debbra Gruenig of Sioux Falls; and his grandchildren, Tony Gruenig (Kim), Tina Dressen (Patrick), Tammie Snyder (Jason), Tom Gruenig (Ann), Dr. Christine Duncan (Nick) and Lindsey Keller (Tyler). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
