He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben L. Holm and Iva Holm (Woolridge); his son Jerald "Jerry" Holm; his stepson Joseph D'Amico; and his brothers, Ben J. Holm and Lawrence Holm.
He is survived by: his wife Marge Holm of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Vikki Rehder (Roger) of Beresford, SD, Mike Holm (Joanie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Steven Holm (Charlotte) of Hartford, SD, Sharon Schriever (Ivan Visser) of Brandon, SD, Clayton Holm (Nicole) of Sioux Falls, SD, Randall Holm of Sioux Falls, SD and Susan Holm (Peter Tapken) of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepsons, Michael D'Amico (Yvonne) of Thornton, CO, Richard D'Amico (Kim) of Union, CO and Phillip D'Amico of Sioux Falls, SD; his sister Norma Holm of Lennox, SD; and also Zeus.
