He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Joan Hegdahl; his children, Kevin Heesch and Linda Crayne; and his parents, Carl Heesch and Esther Heesch.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Heesch of Sioux Falls, SD, Loren Heesch of Sioux Falls, SD, Tamara Johnson (Mike) of Garretson, SD, Stacy Mertz of Sioux Falls, SD and David Heesch of Sioux Falls, SD; his son-in-law William Crayne of Jerrico Springs, MO; and his grandchildren, Jeff Crayne (Andrea), Robert "Bobby" Crayne, Cheryl McElroy (Brent), Danielle Lowak (Chris), Aaron Crayne, Ethan Crayne, Nicole Heesch, Alexis Heesch, Brittany Heesch, Tiffany Heesch, Dustin Johnson (Rebecca), Kelsey Bickley and Hailey Johnson. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
