He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Getz and Elizabeth Getz (Knittel); his siblings, William Getz (Lu), Paul Getz (Ida), Bertha Zeller (Art), Marie Illian (Charles), Laura Vollmer (Rudy), Betty Long (Alvin) and Margaret Johnson (Spike); his parents-in-law, Merle and Olive Parke; his brothers-in-law, Clifford Parke, John Parke, Charlie Williams and Jerry Kerkvliet; and his child Deb Whipple (Rob).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Getz; his sons, Scott Getz (Anita) and Roger Getz (Angel); his grandchildren, Megan Faber (Ryan), Daniel Whipple (Alyce), Molly Whipple, Marissa Whipple, Hallie Getz, Brady Getz and Dawson Getz; his great grandchildren, Grant Faber, Lauren Faber and Addisyn Whipple; and his siblings-in-law, Priscilla Parke, Kathie Williams, Faye Kerkvliet, Aletha Parke and Bill Parke (Lola). He is also survived by his kids' and grandkids.
